Chris Nixon: Aston Martin Virage signed by Victor Gauntlett Very rare hardback book, bound in green with gold lettering, signed, dated and dedicated by the then CEO Victor Gauntlett (late) on 10.27.1990, book by Chris Nixon photography by Richard Newton. Very high quality production, impossible to find, covers in great detail the late V8 cars, Zagato, Vantage and of course the building of Victor’s Virage. Aston Martin Works Coachbuilt Badge, Newport Pagnell Chrome Enamel badge denoting coachwork at the Tickford Street Shops (fitted to the front wing) of all 90’s-2007 special works cars. The Works Service division of Aston Martin was originally a top secret shop that built one off specialty cars for wealthy enthusiast. Most employees at Aston Martin did not even know the shop exist. Cars wearing this Ultra Rare Badge are the Virage Lightweight, several Virage & Vantage shooting breaks, and sedans (some even wearing Lagonda badging), six Vantage Special series cars and finishing with the Vantage Volante Special Edition of which 9 were built. No one really knows how many cars wear this badge, but it is estimated at fewer than 50. Fantastic piece of Aston Martin history, for Newport Pagnell is no more.		$POA Click on image
